    The Total Rewards leader is responsible for the continuous development, implementation, communication and maintenance of the Company’s total rewards functions, including Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, and Payroll. Crafts a Total Rewards strategy to align with and drive the performance of the business, considering competitive positioning, employment branding, and employee engagement & reward. Proactively researches, analyzes and assesses market data, incorporating industry trends and best practices into the Total Rewards strategy. This role will work closely with functional leaders and the C-suite regarding enterprise wide Compensation and provide oversight to the Benefits & Payroll functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess long-term business needs and design and implement rewards initiatives that will proactively support future business requirements.
    • Design and implement communication tools to ensure employee understanding and value of reward programs. Develop strong relationships built on credibility and trust with senior line and HR leadership as part of the Total Rewards Strategy.
    • Analyze rewards programs to ensure that they align with business strategy, market competitiveness, cost effectiveness.
    • Ensure that rewards programs optimize the organization’s ability to attract and retain top talent.
    • Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.
    • Provide leadership to the compensation philosophy, strategy, design and implementation of corporate compensation and benefit programs for the organization.
    • Provide thorough evaluations and analyses on an ongoing and annual basis ensuring reward programs are designed and implemented to meet the needs of our global population.
    • Manage the delivery and communications of annual and variable compensation globally.
    • Establish and manage all global compensation initiatives and ongoing projects including the annual focal review, salary survey participation, competitive assessment process, evolution of the compensation framework and off-cycle recommendations.
    • Partner with HR Business Partners in the job evaluation process. Oversee review of job descriptions, market pricing of jobs and internal leveling.
    • Manage compensation survey library and participation and the evaluation, analysis and reporting of compensation data.
    • Manage global employee recognition platform, vendor relationship and all recognition programs.
    • Ensure that the department manages all aspects of benefit administration ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local benefit laws and regulations.
    • Ensure globally compliant payroll processes to support on time and accurate payments to employees

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years expereicne in HR in the areas of compensation, benefits, recognition, and payroll.
    • Extensive experience in total rewards; broad compensation and benefits expertise with a mix of operational, plan design, policy development and strategic experience.
    • Strong relationship building abilities and partnership skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and achieve results with a global team.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize data and develop recommendations for senior leaders. Ability to facilitate strong partnerships across diverse stakeholders.
    • 3+ years people management experience
    • In-depth knowledge of the benefits marketplace including differences between insurers, marketplace trends, benchmarking and changes in the legislative framework affecting benefits
    • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations relating to payroll
    • Experience with global payroll operations preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong technical, managerial, and team building skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities
