  • Overview

    This position will lead a team of thinkers and doers.  The right Creative Director will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position.  We are looking for someone who inspires others, taking our Creative team to a new level.  The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in strategic messaging, brand and a natural eye for design.  Must possess a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with our Reps and Members.  The successful candidate will be a high-performing, results-driven marketing professional.

    Responsibilities

    • Build, lead and review work of the creative team for all digital channels (email, SMS, video & Social.
    • Spearhead and manage content strategy for all projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content and copy.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams in developing marketing plans and identifying opportunities to deliver integrated campaigns.
    • Translate creative briefs into clear and motivating creative strategies.
    • Supervise and give direction to a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers and videographers in a strategic development of messages and deliverables.
    • Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on needs, establishing productions schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters and Project Management.
    • Review and approve art and copy/messaging developed by team ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing target audiences, revenue goals, brand guidelines and strategic challenges.
    • Meet budget and manage expenses.
    • Present and oversee presentations of final concepts & obtain feedback and approvals for final work.
    • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates into digital experiences to deliver revenue.
    • Conduct brainstorm sessions with marketing teams maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative tactics in a fiscally responsible manner.
    • Ensure best practices are executed.
    • Manage 3 Direct Reports w/Teams.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of related experience of creative direction in Agency or Corporate environment.
    • 5-7 years creating marketing campaigns from developing vision and message platform to overseeing deliverables on time and on budget.
    • Understanding of integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, email, video, and SMS.
    • Proven experience with concept development.
    • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
    • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent.
    • Hands on management style; times will be writing copy and designing emails.
    • Prior experience with copywriting, design and digital best practices.
    • Strong working relationship with copywriters, graphic designers and digital marketers.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong understanding of brand and multi-channel marketing concepts.
    • Strong persuasive skills. Change agent desired.
